Adieu my friends
That day, 12th July 2009, Sunday, is the day where my friends were leaving me and my batch. They are about to join in the job for the company L&T, most prestigious company in its kind. My friends circle comprises of many but few comes close to my heart. Of them Deepak, Sateesh, Chaitanya are leaving for their joining, its good actually we all are proud of them a successful transformation from a student to a gentlemen.
The previous day on 11th is the night we are not allowed to forget for the rest of life. On the day we all met at my adda, Gajuwaka in Lalitha's home. There few more people add up there, Veena(working on good fortures), Loki, Sruthi(now she is US girl), Chaitu, Manjari(In few days she's a wife to someothers) and all other friends and well wisheres. There in the eveining Our friend Immu promised to come there but he didn't show up. He intensionally didn't come though but he got a reason, funny ones rather. A small cake cutting, gifts, photos, poses, lill celebrations and all that carried over and we left for BHPV Cricket Ground where we all asked Immu to come over there. We all rather teased, scolded and washed him like anything. Next we all boys planned for a late night. Its probably be the longest nights we ever had all together. Though we did not do much but it was very exciting and recollecting all the past days in the college life and Tour. I went to Deepak's house at that evening, as usual he did not pack even single item for the next days journey. Aunty(Deepak's mom) complaining about him and his laziness to me and asking to help me to change his attitude. Ha ha ha its the most difficult task you guys can find on earth, to change a persons attitude in a single night, no way, but he will listen to my class so patiently and says chal macha leave all the stuff and jumps to his favorite topic.
Later remaining of my friends joined there, Saleem, Mouly, Imran, Sateesh. We all went to Mouly room grabbed a dirtly snacks. Hey friends let me clear you the meaning of dirty sancks its combi of all the snacks, Bajji, Samosa, Pani Puri, noodles, drinks all mixed and yaaaaack.... But trust me it tastes good he he :)
Next Our VIZAG's greatest and cool spot to hang out with, The Beach. we all went there and as usual chit chat, rumors, gossips, future plans, gifts, hugs. We all stayed up till 1 pm in the beach and left for Mouly room and Deepak to his home.
Next day morning the day something i really felt loosing it, seriously guys, after all we studied for 4yrs in the Graduation and come really close to each other. We used to share each and every issue and problems. We are the good teasers and made a few bookings to our friends in many incidents. All days are too good for all of us. Deepak is the guy, who can live anywhere and any corner in the world and such intelligent and capable person he is. But we all worry about is Sateesh, he's too caring and innocent. So we warned about Sateesh to care of him. But now the scene is entirely different now at present.
Now im feeling that the gap is increasing between all of us at the rate just like raising the temperature of the earth due to Global warming. No more personal meetings regularly, phone call also reduced, online chating got even worse. They are very very busy in their work life. Yes everyone will come across this situation in their life's na. We did not know the importance of our friends when they are with us, once they are apart from us and leaving us, at that moment you find the real importance of them.
I miss you all the guys.
THIS POST IS DEDICATED TO MY DEAREST FRIEND DEEPAK and my well-wisher, mentor and good friend of mine SATEESH.
Where ever you go, you guys rock and all the best in every aspect of your life. BE BRAVE
*** FRIENDS FOREVER***

I love you, Do love me
She thinks she love another man
And he’s no good you understand
Running round dreaming every night
He’ll never treat my darling right
She don’t know the things he does
She don’t know the habits he loves
He’s not the kind to settle down
Breaking her heart all over again
I tell her every chance I get
She’s not ready to accept that yet
I’m going to get me that girl
Show her that she is my world
Can’t anyone love her as I do
And he’s no good you understand
Running round dreaming every night
He’ll never treat my darling right
She don’t know the things he does
She don’t know the habits he loves
He’s not the kind to settle down
Breaking her heart all over again
I tell her every chance I get
She’s not ready to accept that yet
I’m going to get me that girl
Show her that she is my world
Can’t anyone love her as I do
Thinking of her my heart bleeds
I’m always there anytime she needs
I have loved her for many years
She caused me to shed many tears
I love her but she doesn’t love me
I’ll live in misery on my own
If I can’t have her I’ll die alone
I have loved her for many years
She caused me to shed many tears
I love her but she doesn’t love me
I’ll live in misery on my own
If I can’t have her I’ll die alone

Nobel for Obama!
The Norwegian Nobel Committee's decision to award the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize to U.S. President Barack Obama is welcomed though but unacceptable.
Winning the Nobel Peace comes as welcome news for this world devastated by racial, regional and religious tensions. His domestic and foreign policies has got all ingredients for a perfect peaceful society, one of such is non-nuclear weapons and against wars. Mr. President who released his Armed forces from Iraq is a fine example and wants to interact with Muslim people, where his predecessor Bush filled with hatred.
Mr. President yet to turn his promises into action plan. I think its too early to give him Nobel.
Actually in the past this prize is awarded in recognition of the achievements done, it has awarded to Obama with the express of hope that he will work on the promises, initiatives and future non-nuclear weapons for the peace of world.
All people of the world once again looks at the States and President Obama should now walk the extra mile to deliver his plans into actions.
The one only reason for awarding Nobel to Obama, hopes the prize will help him translate his promises into action. No doubt he is at best a promising leader who has offered hope for a better future and captured attention of all Americans, who were looking for a change.
In my opinion the prize lost its value when it failed to honour Mahatma Gandhi, one of the great leaders representing Peace and Non-violence.
What makes Mahatma Gandhi ineligible contender for Nobel Peace?

Speech by Thomas Friedman in the New York Times...
"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were
Told to eat our vegetables at dinner and not leave them.
Mothers said, think of the starving children in India
And finish the dinner.'
Told to eat our vegetables at dinner and not leave them.
Mothers said, think of the starving children in India
And finish the dinner.'
And now I tell my children:
'Finish your homework. Think of the children in India
Who would make you starve, if you don't.'?"

Simhachalam
SIMHACHALAM
Hi friends,
I'm really proud to say that im a vizagitte, one of the most beautiful places - the city of destiny. Vizag also called Visakhapatnam is famous for its SIMHACHALAM devastanam, vizag steel plant, beach view, kailasgiri, araku hill valley and many more.
Let me share with you ABOUT SIMHACHALAM wat i know:
Simhachalam temple is a Hindu temple located in Andhra Pradesh, South India, and is dedicated to the incarnation (avatar) of Vishnu known as Narasimha (the man-lion).
Origin of the simhachalam:
SIMHA means Lion
Achala means hill
Atop the hill is a famous temple said to be the abode of Narasimha swami, and hence the hill itself is called (nara)simhachalam. The temple is situated in the city of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, India.
Its Significance is one of the eighteen "Naarasimhakshetras" ie shrines of Lord Narasimha in India. Simhachalam temple is known as the second richest temple in India (after Tirupati) earning a revenue of Rs. 520 million. The statue of the deity gives "nijaroopa darshan" (holy appearance in true form) for only 12 hours in a year i.e on Akshaya Tritiya day (the day which is believed to be holy and many people buy gold as belief tat it will be good since then in their lives), the rest of the time the statue is covered with sandalwood paste (called Chandanam). The darshan described as chandana yatra or chandanotsavam falls every year in Vaisakha masa (May).
Right from my childhood I have been hearing the stories of lord Narsimha swamy from my grand father. In our family we used to call Narasimha swamy as Appanna, brother of Lord Venkateshwara swamy (Balaji). My grand pa told me that Lord Appanna is our Elavelpu (Main god of our family).
The significance of this sandalwood paste is that, this God is very angry and in order to cool his anger his nija roopam is covered with chandanam.
Story: Hiranyakasipu was a Rakshasa king. He was in fact one of Vishnu's Dwarapalakas or gate keepers in Vaikuntha, Jaya and Vijaya. They had to take birth in the mortal world thrice because of a curse given by Sanaka, Sanandana, Sanathana and Sanathkumara, who were not allowed to take darshan of Mahavishnu by them. The other palaka was born as his brother Hiranyaaksha.
Hiranyakasipu wanted to become immortal and hence performed austerities (tapasya) to propitiate Lord Brahma. However, Lord Brahma said that was not possible so Hiranyakasipu asked Lord Brahma to grant him a boon so that he could not be killed by any animal or a man neither in the morning nor in the night, by any weapons, neither in sky nor on the earth.
Hiranyakasipu wanted the entire world to worship him. But, Prahalada, his son, was a devotee of Lord Narayana and always expressed his bhakti towards Him. In spite of warning him several times, Hiranyakasipu could not alter Prahlada's devotion.
This made Hiranyakasipu angry and he made numerous attempts to get Prahlada killed. One of them was to throw him off the top of a mountain. However, Vishnu rescued him by moving the mountain and made a small path for Prahaladha. It is said that in the place where the Lord stood to protect Prahaladha is the place where the temple is built.
History of the temple
It has Sri Varahalakshmi Narasimha Swamy as the presiding deity.
Giripradhikshana [cirum ambulation] around the hill range [~40 km]from Hanumantha vaka / MVP colony to Simhachalam is done by piligrims during the auspicious days (mainly during karthika and Sravana masams). Crowds of elderly people / youth / children are observed walking the 40 km stretch over night. They visit the temple after the long journey and give their offerings to the deity.
The deity at Simhachalam, the lion-man incarnation of Lord Mahavishnu is usually covered with sandalwood paste(chandanam). The original shape of the deity in the tribhanga posture has two hands with the head of a lion on a human torso. An inscription dated as far back as 1098 AD of the Chola king Kuloththunga provides some clue as to its antiquity. Another inscription shows a Queen of the Eastern Ganga of Kalinga (ancient Orissa) (1137-56 AD) covering the image with gold while a third inscription says the eastern Ganga King of Orissa Narasimha Deva built the main/ central shrine in 1267 A.D. With more than 252 inscriptions in Oriya and Telugu describing the antecedents of the temple, it is a historically important monument.
Sri Krishna Deva Raya after defeating the Gajapati ruler of Orissa Gajapati Prataparudra Dev visited the shrine twice in 1516 AD and 1519 AD and offered numerous villages for maintenance of bhogam (worship) along with valuable jewellery of which an emerald necklace is still in the temple. For the last three centuries the Royal family of Vizianagaram, " The Pusapati Gajapathi's" have been the temple's trustees.
On every chandanotsavam, from the Gajapathi's family offering and pattu vastras are firstly offered to god and then only the remaining devotees can have the darshana only after the Gajapathi's (currently Anand Gajapathi Raju)
This temple was build in the style of Orissa temple architecture. The sculputure of the temple is falambount and one cannot take eye off it.
Its surely a once in a life time visit. Its believed that Kappa Stamba inside the temple has got lot more importance, many people will do aalinganam (holy hug) with that pillar and wishes that should come true. Many MPs MLAs will believe in this before nomination and after winning too.
My grand father Mr.Venkatarao Gopi (Late) used to tell me about this temple god every liesure time, and also informed me that unlike any other gods, Lord Narasimha swamy is very powerful and angry too, so dedication is very important.
some of the important facts are:
The Simhachalam temple faces West unlike so many others which face East. An east-facing entrance, according to religious belief, brings prosperity while a west-facing one brings victory.
The hill top road, as well as the location of the eastern ghat ranges are beautiful and pictersque. The hills are densely populated with trees of various types like Cashew, shrubs, mango groves etc., The forestry is protected and well conserved. The greenary is really good and attracts tourists as well as nature lovers for spending their leisure in prasing the nature.
